1969 and 1970 Class Reunion

Our class reunion was held on the 1^st weekend in October.  

We met on Friday night at Moonelon for drinks and casual conversation. There were around 50 people in attendance and everyone seemed to have a nice time.  There were several teachers there including David Thompson and his wife Mary.  As you look at the pictures you will see Ms. Jane Pointer also made it and she hasn’t changed a bit.

On Saturday afternoon several of us met at Cedar Rock Park for a family picnic.  Although the turn out was small the lunch was great. Steve Fogleman did a great job preparing the chicken, biscuits, gravy and green beans.

Saturday night, oh what a night.  The food was perfect along with the dancing. Sylvia Whitesell and Steve Lee made the evening by singing a song to the class of 1969 and 1970. We all had tears of joy and pride.

There has been discussion of future reunions but at this time there is nothing scheduled.  We’ve talked about gathering at the beach sometime in June 2004 and possibly getting together at other times as well.  If you would like more information please contact George Moody at info@arcoutfitters.com.
